Program Costs and Financial Aid

Paramedic Program (includes EMT, AEMT, and Paramedic courses) tuition is designed to be all-inclusive and transparent. This approach helps prevent surprise or piecemeal costs for students, agencies, and sponsoring organizations.

Included in Program Tuition

Program tuition includes:

  • Textbooks, including the Advantage Package with eBook and hardcopy materials
  • Uniform polo or program shirt
  • Merit badge certifications, as applicable to the course level
  • Adaptive EMS testing platform access
  • Platinum Planner access

Not Included in Program Tuition

The following costs are not included in tuition and remain the responsibility of the student or sponsoring agency:

  • Parking
  • Travel expenses
  • EMS/Uniform style pants
  • Appropriate footwear (closed toe only; reinforced toe recommended)
  • Replacement program shirts or ID badges
  • Certification testing fees

Students and agencies should plan accordingly for these additional expenses when budgeting for the program.

Tuition Payment Policy

Students are ultimately responsible for all tuition and fees associated with their program, regardless of sponsorship by an employer, agency, or third party. A minimum deposit is required at registration, and tuition must be paid according to established payment milestones throughout the program. Full payment of all tuition and fees is required before a student may enter the Capstone Phase. Click here to view the full Tuition Payment Policy.

Refund Policy

Students who withdraw from a program may be eligible for a partial refund depending on the date of withdrawal. Refund amounts decrease as the program progresses, and certain materials, books, software licenses, and fees may be non-refundable. Click here to view the full Refund Policy.

Program Completion and Capstone Eligibility Policy

Due to limited clinical and field internship capacity, students must complete all academic, laboratory, clinical, administrative, and financial requirements before entering the Capstone Phase. Students who are unable to meet these requirements may apply for a limited extension, subject to approval and applicable fees. Students that do not meet program requirements within the allotted time will be administratively dropped from the program. Withdrawal Deadline and Tuition Obligation

Students may withdraw from the program within the first four (4) weeks of the course without becoming responsible for the full tuition amount. Refund eligibility is determined separately under the Refund Policy. After the withdrawal deadline, students are financially responsible for 100% of tuition, regardless of withdrawal, dismissal, attendance, or program completion status.
