Financial Aid and Tuition Assistance
At this time, the CTCCE does not accept traditional financial aid for EMT, Advanced EMT, or Paramedic programs. We also do not accept tuition assistance through VCU Health, and we do not currently participate in the GI Bill program.
Some financial assistance may be available through reduced tuition opportunities or tuition vouchers. Students may have the opportunity to apply for tuition assistance after applying to the program. Availability of tuition assistance may vary by course, cohort, funding source, and student eligibility.
Preference may be given to students who serve rural and/or underserved communities.
Tuition Vouchers
If a tuition voucher is awarded, the voucher is specific to the student and the approved cohort. Vouchers may not be transferred to another student or to another cohort.
For Advanced EMT and Paramedic students, awarded vouchers will be applied to the student’s outstanding tuition balance after the fourth week of class.
For EMT students, vouchers may be applied at the time of registration, if applicable.
